Redefining Flavour Possibilities: Keva’s Journey Through 2025

By Keva Flavours Admin

December 30, 2025

2025 stands out as a defining chapter in Keva Flavours’ journey of innovation, creativity, and sensorial excellence. Built on a strong foundation of technical expertise and deep market insight, the year became a platform for pushing boundaries—introducing fresh concepts, reimagining familiar formats, and translating global and regional trends into compelling flavour solutions. Innovation during the year was not limited to new launches; it focused on creating meaningful, consumer-centric experiences that resonated across product categories, cultures, and generations.

At the core of this progress was a nuanced understanding of evolving consumer preferences. While consumers continue to seek bold flavours and novel experiences, they are equally drawn to nostalgia—flavours that evoke memories, traditions, and emotional connections. This has driven a growing demand for indulgence with purpose, health-forward options, and authentic tastes that feel both familiar and exciting.

Responding to these insights, teams across Creation, Marketing, Sales, Applications, and Sensory worked in close collaboration to develop flavour solutions that balance indulgence with functionality, tradition with modernity, and comfort with surprise. Spanning beverage, dairy and desserts, confectionery, wellness, and plant-based innovations, 2025 emerged as a year of holistic, flavour-led growth rooted in relevance, emotion, and timeless appeal.

Technological excellence

At Keva, we continually translate evolving consumer insights and emerging taste trends into innovative flavour concepts and impactful product launches, supported by advanced technology at every stage. In 2025, we re-engineered classic flavour profiles such as Pineapple Classic, Pineapple Platinum, Strawberry Classic, and Vanilla Classic No.1 to align with new-age taste preferences, heightened sensory expectations, and modern application needs. These refreshed classics offer richer taste depth, pronounced aroma release, and reliable performance across bakery, confectionery, and dairy applications. Building on our expertise in emulsions, we also introduced trend-relevant fruit and floral emulsions—including Orange, Red Rose, Kala Khatta, and Mango—crafted to meet today’s demand for refreshing, visually appealing, and flavour-forward beverage experiences.

Technological excellence forms the backbone of every creation at Keva. Our advanced flavour development process blends scientific precision with culinary artistry, enabling us to recreate classics, interpret global trends, and develop contemporary flavour profiles suited to modern consumers. From ideation to final formulation, cutting-edge tools and techniques, combined with the expertise of our master flavourist led team of experts, ensure that every flavour including goji berry, yuzu, kunafa, and biscoff performs with consistency, authenticity, and scalability across bakery, dairy, beverages, and confectionery applications. This commitment allows us to deliver flavour solutions that resonate with evolving taste preferences while meeting the highest standards of quality, stability, and application reliability, reinforcing Keva’s leadership in flavour science and consumer-centric innovation.

Consumer Excellence

At Keva, our portfolio expansion is guided by deep market insights and evolving consumer behaviour, ensuring that every innovation addresses real-world needs. In 2025, we strengthened our offerings across citrus, tropical, berry, and brown flavour families, along with nutraceutical and pharmaceutical flavour segments, introducing profiles designed for both everyday consumption and specialized applications. Focused development across butter, milk, vanilla, and chocolate further enabled us to create solutions aligned with emerging taste trends while maintaining versatility across multiple categories.

Building on this momentum, we advanced our application capabilities through precision-driven, category-specific flavour solutions. In bakery, we engineered flavour systems optimized for cake matrices, delivering thermal stability, uniform flavour release, and consistent sensory performance throughout baking and shelf life. Beverage innovation centred on premium hydration formats and advanced emulsion technologies, ensuring improved flavour dispersion, visual clarity, and stability across processing and storage conditions. We also expanded into tea coating systems and carbonated soft drinks (CSDs), developing mild, well-balanced flavour profiles alongside future-focused energy drink solutions, with a growing emphasis on floral and botanical themes. Additionally, formats such as slushies, ready-to-drink mocktails, and jelly drinks were developed to meet evolving consumer preferences for refreshment, indulgence, and sophistication.

Within confectionery, we strengthened our portfolio with chewing gum flavour solutions designed for controlled flavour release, enhanced longevity, and sustained sensory impact. In the Nutraceuticals and wellness segment, innovation focused on protein-based applications, where we introduced natural-range flavour solutions aligned with increasing demand for clean-label and plant-forward products. These solutions effectively mask off-notes in protein systems while maintaining functional performance and sensory appeal. Together, these initiatives reflect Keva’s application-led, technology-driven approach to solving complex formulation challenges and delivering future-ready flavour solutions across categories—consistently delighting consumers, enhancing brand relevance, and supporting sustainable growth.

Ethnic taste excellence

Indian ethnic flavours are at the heart of Keva’s strength, forming a powerful bridge between tradition and global innovation. Deeply rooted in culinary heritage, iconic profiles such as saffron, rose, cardamom, thandai, rabdi, and kulfi evoke nostalgia while offering timeless appeal. As ethnic flavours gain global momentum, these classics are being reimagined into modern fusion experiences by transforming traditional favourites into masala lattes and frappes, and festive indulgences like thandai and rajbhog into café-style beverages, desserts, and contemporary menu offerings. Spanning marquee and legacy products and expanding across bakery, dairy, beverages, and wellness categories, Keva brings Indian ethnic flavours to the global stage by reinterpreting nostalgia through innovation while preserving authenticity at every step.

Global Engagement Excellence

Keva Flavours has extended its innovation journey beyond product development by actively engaging with leading global industry platforms, including Food Ingredients Asia (FI Asia). These platforms create dynamic environments for exchanging ideas, tracking emerging trends, and connecting with thought leaders, innovators, and industry peers from around the world. Through participation in such forums, Keva showcases its latest flavour innovations, highlights its expertise in trend-based sensory, functional, and application-led solutions, and reinforces its commitment to pushing the boundaries of taste and experience.

Complementing its global presence, Keva has strengthened market connect through regional road shows that bring new innovations closer to customers across key markets. These road shows serve as interactive platforms to demonstrate new product launches, application concepts, and technology-driven flavour solutions, while enabling direct engagement with customers and partners. Together, global exhibitions and regional outreach provide valuable insights into shifting consumer preferences, market dynamics, and technological advancements, allowing Keva to anticipate trends and translate them into relevant, scalable, and impactful flavour solutions. This integrated approach reinforces Keva’s position as a pioneer in flavour innovation and enhances its ability to deliver solutions that resonate across diverse markets and cultures.

Operations Excellence

At Keva Flavours, operations and customer service are powered by backward integration, trend-led analytics, and deep procurement expertise, ensuring reliability, robust quality control, and uninterrupted supply continuity. Supported by scientific precision, advanced analytical technologies such as GC–MS, and the expertise of highly qualified specialists, stringent oversight is maintained across the value chain to ensure authenticity, consistency, and performance at every stage. This high level of operational control enables batch-to-batch consistency and dependable application performance, while close collaboration with customers allows solutions to be tailored that preserve natural elegance and a premium character. Through responsive support, expert technical guidance, and robust procurement practices, the company delivers confidence, consistency, and long-term partnership value. On-going factory upgrades have further strengthened productivity in liquid manufacturing and EnKap blending, enabling faster turnaround times while maintaining uncompromising quality.

Alongside product innovation, the company has reinforced its foundations through operational expansion, investments in renewable energy including solar-powered generation, and advanced technological enhancements across flavour manufacturing, strengthening a resilient and future-ready innovation ecosystem.

Keva Flavours: Making Food Delicious Globally!
