Key Accountabilities:
- Develop seasonings in various categories snacks & savoury bases (Chips, Extruded snacks, Namkeens, Corn balls, coated nuts / Makhanas, Popcorns, Noodles and Soup Mixes, Seasonings for Buttermilk and Centre filled candy’s etc.
- Timely execution of new product development including formulation development, specifications, costing, evaluation with sales team and sensory panel and closing the project in given timelines.
- Internally planning with Production team for scale up batch trials and subsequent evaluation.
- Responsible for regular evaluation and profiling of new savoury flavours in various formats. Understanding of various application techniques of seasoning in different snack and savoury bases
- Review, evaluate and renovate savoury flavour bank and update on a regular basis.
- Accountable for market research and new products evaluation of savoury and seasonings on a regular basis.
- Checking & enhancing quality control procedures from the raw material to the finished product. Standardising and shortlisting of vendors and their raw materials, additives, oils for product development
- Ensuring the microbiological quality norms for all intermediate and finished products.
- Ensuring Product Traceability, corrective action & preventive action right from raw material to the Finished Goods.
- Hands on analytical testing of spices including Moisture Content, Total ash, AIA, Curcumin, SHU, Volatile oil of spices, Spice Blend & Seasonings.
Understanding of market trends, Indian Food Laws, Conversion of customers’ expectations into prototypes and thereby wins, strengthening customer relationships by value added contributions through guidance

Experience –
4 – 8 years of relevant experience
